This is a perfect product for someone who parks their car and goes for a bike ride or run. I dont leave it installed and so I don't have any issues with rusting keys etc. I just pop it into my reciever hitch, lock up my keys and head out on my run/ride. And my keys are there when I come back.

this was so easy to install! 10 min after i opened the box i had it on my jeep and the combo was changed, which was also very easy all you need is a screwdriver. very well built steel construction very little plastic worth the 60 bucks

Very well made and secure. Much better than the magnetic hide-a-key which can fall off. Worth the investment if your car has an expensive programmed key as most newer models do. Enough space for a credit card/license/cash as well as the key.
I wish it came with more rubber spacers.

The Hitch Safe is wonderful. It's easy to install and quality made product. I leave my keys in my Hitch Safe while I'm out doing activities (running, hiking, bike riding, etc.) and never have to worry about losing my keys or carrying them with me. Not only do I use it but I have purchased some as gifts. Highly recommended product.

This product is really good. When I go boating, I don't want my electronic key to get wet, if I should end up in the water, and so, I stash the key in the "hitch safe." I really like it. I still put the key in a plastic baggie, since I'm not sure if it rains, if the safe will get damp, and I don't want to take chances. My land rover key fits in there nicely. It's a fat electronic key, and the smaller realtor type key safes won't accomodate it. This item is a bit spendy, but to replace that key would cost a lot more in time, money and aggravation. It's an easy install too.
