I love this blanket so much that I bought one in green and blue too. Works excellent for swaddling baby. As baby grows into toddler hood, the blanket can be used for sleeping. This blanket will give you plenty of mileage.

Our son is getting bigger and it is getting warmer where we live and I wanted something more light weight that would cover him up. We did swaddle him when he was a newborn and this blanket would have been good then, but it's great now. Wonderful buy!

Love these blankets. Nice weight, well made and a great size for swaddling. We're still wrapping our 2+month old and they still fit well. WAY better than a lot of less expensive "receiving blankets." Well worth the money. You won't be sorry

This swaddling cloth is bigger than other receiving blankets, making it more effective to create a swaddle that a baby can't bust out of. We used it with the information from the Happiest Baby on the Block DVD and it was the only thing that put our daughter to sleep her first three weeks. No other receiving/swaddle blanket would do becuase she was able to break out of other blankets. She still prefers to be swaddled in this blanket at 6 weeks to sleep at night. We had to buy three total to make sure we always had one on hand in case she soiled them. I now give this and the DVD to any expectant mother. This blanket was a life saver!

I recieved a Swaddle Designs blanket as a baby gift and it is now my #1 gift for new babies. It is perfect for swaddling, but the large size is also great to put on the floor when the baby needs a play area, and as it is thin, it fits nicely into a diaper bag or stroller to carry with you all the time as the baby gets older. Plus they are soft and pretty! What more could you ask for?
