 Quit working in less than a month and a half September 1, 2010

I was actually preparing to give very a positive review for this adapter. Then it quit working... DURING THE MIDDLE OF A BIG PRESENTATION. No bends in the cable, no impacts, no nothing - just quit working. I bought the official Apple adapter just to make sure it wasn't my laptop - it worked perfectly.
I love a good bargain as much as anyone, but I'm willing to shell out an extra $20 for the official Apple version even it if it is just 25% more reliable.

This product was exactly what I was looking for! It worked great, no problems at all at first, but I've only had it for about a month and it already stopped working. Aside from that it was exactly what I needed. I would recommend this product, I doubt everyone is faulty and for the price I cant really complain.

The adaptor was shipped quickly. I got it for my year old macbook pro to do presentations on the video projector. It worked great, no setup was required. It changed the resolution of the screen on my macbook to match the resolution of the projector, not sure if this is standard with projectors.
The price was good too.
