Used on a 7D August 27, 2010 Viktor Got this in the mail today!
First of all props to seller as it was delivered very quickly.
I don't usually shoot RAW and I won't be shooting 8fps RAW.
I held my finger down on the shutter button for more than 30 seconds while shooting 8fps continuous mode.
It took roughly 1-2 seconds of wait time until the Read-Write amber light went off and was able to view the pictures.
This is my first purchase on Amazon and I'm actually in the US visiting from Australia. For this purchase, I would definitely encourage people to buy this product.
If you can't afford the SanDisk equivalent, Kingston is the way to go.
Wedding material August 18, 2010 MJNolte I have two of these and I feel confident shooting a 5-6 hour wedding, in RAW, with two of these. I have a Canon 50D and the card can handle fast continuous shooting. I ordered my first card 9 months ago and several weddings later I have not experienced any corrupted pictures.
Great but not very fast July 24, 2010 Photo Buff (antelope, ca United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This card is great value if you do not fill your camera's buffer when you shoot. It takes over twice as long to write to this card as it does to a UDMA enabled card. If you do not shoot long sequences of photos, there is no reason to pay more.
Nice big CF card June 30, 2010 T (Honolulu, HI) It's a good value for the money, used it in my Canon 7D on a recent trip. It kept up with the camera as far as saving pictures and video. I shot all in RAW format but did not try out the 8 shots/sec with this card. So far I like it, popped it in the camera and it registered well over 1000 shots(my camera showed up to 999, 3 digit display limit); average size for my RAW files were well in the 25MB range/shot. With this in the camera and walking about the city exploring, I didn't have to worry about running out of space and happily snapped at anything that came my way.
Not perfect but still a good value June 30, 2010 HRC (St. Louis, MO) I purchased this card for the same reason everyone else did........ the price. It's a great value and by far one of the cheapest 32g CF cards out there. I have shot probably 8,000 shots on this card. It performs well but every now and then.... MY D300S does NOT like it. It will lock up my camera and tell me to change the card. I simply eject and reinsert and all is well again. This probably happens about once every 600-700 shots. I'm not sure what the problem is but it always starts working again after I eject/reinsert. Either way, it's still a great bargain. I will probably go for the 64g version once it comes out.
