Product Description Choose charcoal for that authentic smoky BBQ taste. This Weber grill is the gold standard for charcoal kettles, featuring a hinged cooking grate to make adding charcoal a breeze, plus a patented one-touch cleaning system that makes maintenance and ash removal easier than ever. Five-year limited warranty. Model 751001.
Amazon.com Review Weber's One-Touch Gold kettle grill is a great buy for anyone looking for a classic model with a few convenient extras. The design is sleek. The results are delicious. As with all Weber grills, this kettle's lid and bowl are constructed of premium porcelain-enameled steel--which means not only does heat radiate evenly, but the grill will survive if it's left out in the rain. The cooking surface (22-1/2 inches in diameter) is big enough to accommodate six large steaks, twice as many burgers, or up to a dozen kebabs, and the grill's classic kettle shape keeps flare-ups to a minimum. When designing this grill, Weber clearly kept convenience in mind. The grill's nickel-plated grate has two built-in hinged side openings that make adding more charcoal briquettes easy and safe, and, when the lid's not in use, it can hang from the bowl by a handy hook. The grill is durable, too. The porcelain-coated steel bowl and lid are exceptionally strong and designed never to rust, fade, or peel. The grill's aluminum vents and ash catcher won't rust either, and its tripod base, nylon handles, and all-weather wheels--besides being exceptionally sturdy--make the grill remarkably easy to maneuver. Weber's patented One-Touch cleaning system--a clever setup of lever-activated blades--sifts ash out of the kettle and into a cooking-pot-shaped ash catcher. You never have to get your hands dirty--and emptying the kettle takes only a few seconds. To top it all off, Weber throws in a 31-page owner's guide filled with cooking tips and time-tested recipes for grilling everything from pork chops to bratwurst to Cornish hens.

Better than a Brinkman July 27, 2010 ecandydesigns 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used to have a large smoker with a chimney stack. The Webber Grill One Touch Gold 22.5 is more effecient for smoking. With the ash catcher you don't experience blowing ash. The catcher also makes it easy to dispose of the ashes. I use less charcoal and wood. I wish it were taller. ecandy Kindle Cover & Case with Reversible Zip Closure in Black Licorice Paisley (Fits 6" Display, Global Wireless, Latest Generation Kindle)
Great Grill July 27, 2010 James A. Gerwick Jr. I have used Weber grills for many years with great results. This one has features that enhance the grilling experience. The ash collecter makes clean up easy and neat. With the larger grill and the folding sides, I can use indirect heat easily and efficiently. In the short time I have had my new Weber, I have smoked a small turkey, a pork roast and a meat loaf. Well done, Weber.
Superb charcoal grill July 16, 2010 Neocube (Ohio) As this was the first summer for my wife and I in our first house, I needed a grill. I can't afford the $400 for the Weber Spirit gas grill yet, so I researched charcoal, as I like the flavor it brings to the meat better anyway.
This grill does not disappoint. I used to have a cheap $40 charcoal grill in college and in comparison, I can say the Weber One-Touch Gold is much more durable and built to last.
The One-Touch cleaning system and ash catcher are both very convenient. I had debated getting the model without the ash catcher, but am glad I got it. Assembly was really simple, took 20 minutes while watching a ballgame.
One thing I will say is a MUST-HAVE accessory (that I saw other reviewers pointed out) would be the chimney starter. It doesn't have to be the Weber one either, I picked up a cheaper one at Home Depot for only $7 and it does the job just fine. But, man, does it make lighting the charcoal easier. No lighter fluid, just some newspaper and you'll have red hot coals in about 15 minutes...Happy Grilling!
Plastic Handles July 16, 2010 John M (Southern Calif USA) I have been using a Weber Charcoal grill for 30 years. I have loved them. One of the best thing Weber has done was to replace the metal handle with the wood handles. I just bought a Weber for my daughter for a wedding present and the new plastic or composite handles, in my point of view are one of if not the worst thing Weber has done. The wood handles are great. There is no Waring's anywhere that I saw that told you the handles get "very" hot! My son in law grabbed the handle on the new BBQ I just gave them and he almost dropped the lid and almost burnt his hand. After years of use I am not very happy about this. I just told them how great Weber's are then he almost burns himself
Grill Daddy July 13, 2010 Cyndi Moeller (Batesville, IN USA) We have cooked with Weber Kettles for many, many years and this is just a wonderful updated version of the grill. Much easier to shut down and the food cooks very evenly.
