Product Description The Chuckit! is one sweet way to exercise your dog...without wearing out your arm. With the Chuckit!, you can throw that ball out of the ballpark over and over again. Use it in the park, in your backyard, or anywhere there is plenty of room. With a little practice you can consistently throw the ball 100 to 140 feet. Instructions: Find an open area, away from people, animals and buildings. With the ball in the Chuckit!, grip the handle firmly. Extend your arm back over your shoulder until the ball is behind you. Then swing it forward in a smooth arc and follow through. The ball will release when you swing it fast enough. Hands Free Pick Up. Holding the handle of the Chuckit!, place the ball claw over the tennis ball and press down firmly. Description: 12 inches long. Made of lightweight, durable plastic, the Chuckit! uses a standard-size tennis ball and is designed for hands-free pickup... so you NEVER have to bend down and pick up a slimy ball again.

Fun! July 26, 2010 Diane Almy (Miami, FL) Boy, does this thing launch a ball! We got it because one of our dogs loves to fetch. It throws a ball farther & quicker than by my own hand. Also, it nice because you use the launcher to pick up the ball which can get pretty soggy so no more wet, yucky hand.
Chuckit ball thrower June 10, 2010 Janet Lirette This is a great thing to use to play ball with your dog and I highly recommend it. I gave it only 4 stars because I have a toy poodle who is an avid ball retreiver but her mouth is so small that she drops the regular chuckit ball several times before she gets back with it. It's painful to watch her struggle but she is so determined. This is her most favorite thing to do. I have stopped using the chuckit but wish they had a small one for the XS Kong tennis ball, which is her favorite and fits her mouth perfect. I also have a miniature poodle, whose not into retrieving a ball, but the ball for the regular chuckit is the perfect size for him. It's a great product for anything over a small toy dog and has many benefits to playing ball with a larger dog. So hey chuckit, how about making a small one for those little toy dogs.
Love Love Love Love it! May 22, 2010 Caitlin Varese 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got this in addition to the full-size Chuckit that I already had. The biggest reason was that the full-size was great for the dog park, but not so great for my medium sized back yard. I kept launching tennis balls into my neighbor's pool and it was getting embarrassing having to go and ask to retrieve them.
I've been using the Pocket Chuckit for about a week now and it's awesome. It works well in my backyard and I've actually taken it to the dog park once. It launches the ball reasonably far, not as far as the full-size, but the portability of it more than makes up for it.
Perfect for what i use it for. March 8, 2010 Christopher H. Anderson I borrowed a full sized chuck it from my cousin and proceeded to launch the tennis ball over my backyard fence on the first throw. After purchasing this one, it is the perfect size for someone with a backyard of about 100 feet or so. dog loves the toy, and my arm does too.
great quality product, we use it every day January 21, 2010 R. Adams Everyone likes this toy. The dog gets more throws out of us, and we really like not having to touch the ball. The included ball is nice, but I'm happy the toy is designed to use any tennis ball. This short one fits in your back pocket easily, and it launches the ball very well. We might get the full size one this summer if we want to go to a bigger field, but this could be the only one we need.
