An excellent card for photographers. July 16, 2010 Dave Reynolds (Virginia, USA) I am a semiprofessional photographer, and when I bought my first DSLR, I decided that I needed to purchase a new memory card to go with it. I bought this one, and I haven't regretted it. It does indeed perform at the stated speed, and it works well with the Canon EOS series. For the camera I have, 4GB is the perfect amount of space; it gives plenty of room for hundreds of pictures, but it's not so large that it's unmanageable. For the amount of money spent, it is an excellent value.
If you're moving into digital photography - especially digital photography where you will need to snap many pictures in rapid succession (like animal photography or sports photography), you need to invest in a high-speed card, and this is a good card in which to invest.
The only real problem with this card is that the Nintendo Wii console won't recognize it; I sometimes use the Wii to show people my pictures (family and friends; most of my photos get published to the internet). If you're buying this card to go with your Wii, I wouldn't; there's probably an update or something that will let you use this card, but you don't really need a card like this for the Wii anyway; a regular SD card will likely suffice. If you are a photographer like me, however, you can't really go wrong with this one.

Memory card July 12, 2010 Buzz I have used this style of memory card with my other cameras, and know the quality of this company. This card will hold all the pictures I take till I am ready to move them around.

Disappointed that I have to buy extra cable for PC to read card June 30, 2010 SC Mom 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
We purchased this card to go with a basic point and shoot camera that we purchased at the same time from Amazon. The camera and card are great with one exception. My home PC will not read the card. When I contacted SanDisk Technical Support, they told me that this card was typically used by professional photographers and with high end cameras. I was disappointed that it was listed a good/compatible item with the point and shoot camera I purchased. Instead of just popping the card into the computer, I now have to hook the entire camera up to the computer to view/download photos.
